My experience at Zuzu was nothing short of exceptional. The food was not only delicious but the presentation was exquisite and nothing like I had experienced in Detroit before. We started with the cocktails and every dish that was delivered seemed more impressive than the last. The standout dishes were honey walnut shrimp, wagyu beef gyoza and the spicy tuna crispy rice. The sashimi and sushi were so flavorful! The wait staff was so attentive and friendly too. We had the best time! We canβt wait for our next visit. 10 out of 10!

It was our first time here, we decided to celebrate our anniversary here. It was great, reservation was at 4pm, it was quiet which was perfect for us, really started picking up at 530 when we left. Parking is pretty straightforward, a few parking garages near by less than a 5 minute walk. The staff was great, helped quite a bit. I forgot his name but he was a younger guy, attentive and came to check often enough. I can see why this place is popular. We had the avacado roll, gyoza, pepper steak, 8oz filet, sushi tacos, honey walnut shrimp. Took quite a bit home, but I wanted to try a few dishes to give the place a good chance. It was all good. The music wasn't too loud. My wife now wants to have her birthday dinner here with her family , we will definitely return

βββββ An incredible dining experience from start to finish. Experience Zuzu absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, everything was on point β the atmosphere, seating, service, food, and attention to detail. The lamb chops were phenomenal β easily one of the highlights of the night. The A5 Wagyu was also outstanding, perfectly prepared and incredibly flavorful. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious, and the appetizers were just as impressive. Honestly, there wasnβt a single dish we ordered that disappointed. What really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, professional, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. The management was also exceptional and genuinely made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Our seating was comfortable, the ambiance was upscale but still enjoyable, and the entire experience felt very well organized. You can tell there is a lot of pride that goes into this place. Itβs not just about serving good food β they care about the entire guest experience, from the moment you sit down until you leave. Highly recommend the lamb chops, A5 Wagyu, sushi, and appetizers. Amazing service from the hostess, server and food runners, everyone was very welcoming and attentive. My mocktail was delicious, it had pineapple and habenero surup in it. All the food was really tasty and rich! My favorite dish was the sweet and sour chicken. Would love to eat here again.

Love the decor! It was actually not as expensive everyone was making it out to be! Bar service was wonderful. It was a tad on the warm side inside though. Lobster sushi- $12 for 5 pieces. I honestly didn't like it that much. There was a flavor that overpowered it. 4/10. Sushi tacos (calamari 9/10 and shrimp 10/10)- SO GOOD! I liked the shrimp one a little more. You get two choices which was nice to have a variety which was $14. I would definitely get this again. Lychee drink- not on the menu, but should be. You have to ask for it, but for being an Asian restaurant, they should make it a staple drink on their menu. 9.5/10.
